GTSP Global opens new High Purity PTFE manufacturing line
Taipei, Taiwan – GTSP Global, manufacturer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) parts including ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene, announced today the opening of their new high purity PTFE manufacturing line. The new facility includes a bench test facility capable of testing high purity PTFE parts to specifications up to 20KV RMS.
“This advanced PTFE line enhances our development and manufacturing capabilities and uniquely positions us to serve numerous markets”, said Dave DeLong, V.P. of Operations. “Our scope of expertise in this discipline is unsurpassed and enables us to meet challenging part specifications over a wide range of PTFE products.”
This dedicated PTFE production line includes the ability to produce molds and to mold PTFE at various pressures enabling the production of a wide range of PTFE densities. Also unique to the GTSP Global PTFE line is the process stability and temperature variability of a sintering furnace which enables highly consistent production capabilities. The PTFE line includes CNC lathes contained in a temperature and humidity controlled clean room.
