GTSP Global ships record volume of quartz
Taipei, Taiwan — GTSP Global, a global provider of specialized consumable parts such as quartz, ceramic and PTFE, announced today that they recently reached a new milestone shipping over 100,000 pieces of quartz parts for fiscal year 2010. This volume included both opaque quartz and clear quartz parts.
“Reaching this level of volume is a direct result of our continued success in delivering a high quality, cost effective quartz solution to our customers”, said Steve Verschoor, V.P. of Sales. “Our focused effort to lower our manufacturing costs while maintaining a high level of quality has allowed us to set a benchmark in the quartz consumable market.”
GTSP Global manufactures opaque quartz to customers’ specific requirements typically used to protect sensitive component parts from high levels of infrared heat generated in reactors and converters. Clear quartz capability includes manufacturing for both high temperature furnace annealing as well as fire polishing by hand.

GTSP Global opens new High Purity PTFE manufacturing line
Taipei, Taiwan – GTSP Global, manufacturer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) parts including ultra high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene, announced today the opening of their new high purity PTFE manufacturing line. The new facility includes a bench test facility capable of testing high purity PTFE parts to specifications up to 20KV RMS.
“This advanced PTFE line enhances our development and manufacturing capabilities and uniquely positions us to serve numerous markets”, said Dave DeLong, V.P. of Operations. “Our scope of expertise in this discipline is unsurpassed and enables us to meet challenging part specifications over a wide range of PTFE products.”
This dedicated PTFE production line includes the ability to produce molds and to mold PTFE at various pressures enabling the production of a wide range of PTFE densities. Also unique to the GTSP Global PTFE line is the process stability and temperature variability of a sintering furnace which enables highly consistent production capabilities. The PTFE line includes CNC lathes contained in a temperature and humidity controlled clean room.

GTSP Global Expands Electrode Technology Center (ETC)
Taipei, Taiwan – GTSP Global, provider of high power, high purity electrodes used in the application of power transfer for semiconductor and polysilicon reactors, announced the expansion of their Electrode Technology Center (ETC). This center specializes in the manufacturing, testing, and design of various types of high power electrodes.
“We have seen a continued need from our customers to provide an advanced testing center that allows extensive testing for high power applications”, said Dave DeLong, V.P. of Operations for GTSP Global. “Through extensive infrastructure growth we are better positioned to provide detailed high volume testing to reach our customers quality specifications on 100% of our manufacturing volume”.
The ETC includes a facility and test bench for doing on-site high power testing of electrodes as well as pneumatic and hydrostatic testing. These parts require a complex mixture of manufacturing processes, which typically include complicated machining, tight geometric specifications and electroplating with a wide variety of metal and metal alloys.

GTSP Global Opens New Electrode Technology Center (ETC) in Taiwan

GTSP Global is proud to announce recently completed construction of the new Electrode Technology Center, located in Taipei Taiwan. The ETC has dedicated areas for design improvement, manufacturing and quality control testing. We are excited to be in the new facility.
GTSP Global recognizes the importance of a strong technology commitment to our products and customers. We consider the ETC an indication of that commitment and recognize the investment will help us maintain our global leadership in the design and manufacture of high purity electrodes used in high power applications.

GTSP Global Welcomes Scott Rumph
GTSP Global is proud to announce the hiring of Scott Rumph. Scott comes to us with a wide range of experience that will help expand our commitment to World Class Customer Service and Support. He has over 15 years of experience in Sales and Operations within the semiconductor industry, and held various leadership/management positions while serving in the United States Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy.
Scott will be responsible for the development of business in Europe and the Western Hemisphere.
He will hold the title of Senior Director.

GTSP Expands into Taiwan
GTSP Global has completed the regulatory process and is now a fully registered and functional entity in Taiwan. This new GTSP subsidiary will be named GTSP Global Asia ltd.
GTSP Global Asia ltd. was developed solely to provide enhanced service to our existing South East Asia customers. The completion of this regulatory process will allow GTSP Global Asia ltd. to simplify the export and shipping process throughout the South East Asia region. This will allow our customers to receive their products more quickly following the completion of an order and to increase their overall efficiency.

Global Solar Show
